Vibrio sp. merupakan salah satu patogen yang menyerang udang dan dapat menyebabkan kematian masal pada budidaya udang. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengisolasi bakteri Vibrio sp. pada udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) dan menguji sensitivitas terhadap beberapa jenis antibiotik. Koleksi sampel diambil dari salah satu tambak yang berada di Gampong Lamjabat Banda Aceh menggunakan metode sampel acak sederhana. Isolasi bakteri dilakukan dengan metode carter pada media Thiosulphate Citrate Bile Salt (TCBS) sedangkan uji sensitivitas antibiotik dilakukan menggunakan difusi cakram Kirby-Bauer. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) yang berada di tambak telah terinfeksi bakteri Vibrio sp. Bakteri Vibrio sp. telah resisten terhadap antibiotik amoksilin (83%), gentamisin (17%), streptomisin (33%), kloramfenikol (33%) dan tetrasiklin (50%) dan bersifat intermediet terhadap antibiotik amoksilin (17%), gentamisin (17%), streptomisin (50%), dan tetrasiklin (17%). Namun, masih sensitif pada antibiotik gentamisin (67%), streptomisin (50%), kloramfenikol (67%), ciprofloxasin (100%) dan tetrasiklin (33%). Oleh sebab itu dapat disimpulkan bahwa bakteri Vibrio sp. yang diisolasi pada udang vaname (Litopenaeus vannamei) telah resisten terhadap berbagai jenis antibiotik kecuali ciprofloksasin.

Vibrio sp. is one of the pathogens that attack shrimp and can cause mass mortality in shrimp culture. This study aims to isolate the bacteria Vibrio sp. on white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) and tested for sensitivity to several types of antibiotics. The sample collection was taken from one of the ponds in Gampong Lamjabat Banda Aceh using a simple random sample method. Bacterial isolation was carried out using the charter method on Thiosulphate Citrate Bile Salt (TCBS) media, while the antibiotic sensitivity test was carried out using Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion. The results of this study showed that white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) in ponds were infected with Vibrio sp.. Vibrio sp. was resistant to the antibiotics amoxicillin (83%), gentamicin (17%), streptomycin (33%), chloramphenicol (33%) and tetracycline (50%) and was intermediate to the antibiotics amoxicillin (17%), gentamicin (17%), streptomycin (50%), and tetracycline (17%). However, it is still sensitive to the antibiotics gentamicin (67%), streptomycin (50%), chloramphenicol (67%), ciprofloxacin (100%) and tetracycline (33%). Therefore, it can be concluded that the bacteria Vibrio sp. which was isolated in white shrimp (Litopenaeus vannamei) was resistant to various types of antibiotics except ciprofloxacin.
