ABSTRAK

Glaukoma neovaskular adalah salah satu jenis glaukoma sekunder dengan adanya pembentukan pembuluh darah baru atau neovaskularisasi pada iris dan sudut bilik mata depan serta peningkatan tekanan intraokular (TIO). Glaukoma neovaskular merupakan manifestasi lanjut dari retinopati diabetik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui karakteristik pasien glaukoma neovaskular akibat retinopati diabetik di RSUD dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh tahun 2016-2021. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif retrospektif dengan pengambilan data yang diperoleh dari data sekunder berupa data rekam medis pasien. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan metode total sampling dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 32 orang. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa distribusi pasien glaukoma neovaskular akibat retinopati diabetik tertinggi pada kelompok usia 56-65 tahun (37,5%), berjenis kelamin laki-laki (65,52%), lateralisasi penyakit bilateral (87,5%), stadium III glaukoma neovaskular (53,33%), mengalami kebutaan (50%), dan TIO > 21 mmHg (32%). Berdasarkan karakteristik funduskopi, telah terjadi perbesaran berat rasio cup disc (63,33%), adanya nasalisasi pembuluh darah (100%), cupping (98,33%), perdarahan diskus optikus (66,67%), atrofi peripapilar (73,33%), dan penipisan RNFL (90%). Berdasarkan karakteristik retinopati diabetik, jumlah tertinggi ditunjukkan pada pasien dengan PDR (66,67%), DM tipe 2 (100%), dan telah menderita diabetes selama 5-9 tahun (43,75%).

ABSTRACT Neovascular glaucoma is a type of secondary glaucoma that has new blood vessels or neovascularization in the iris and anterior chamber angle and increased intraocular pressure (IOP). Neovascular glaucoma is a late manifestation of diabetic retinopathy. This study aims to determine the characteristics of patients with neovascular glaucoma due to diabetic retinopathy in Rumah Sakit dr. Zainoel Abidin Banda Aceh 2016-2021. The research method used in this study is a retrospective descriptive study with data collection obtained from secondary patient medical record data. The sampling technique used in this study is the total sampling method with a total sample of 32 people. The results of this study showed that the distribution of neovascular glaucoma patients due to diabetic retinopathy was highest in the age group 56-65 years (37.5%), male (65.52%), bilateral disease lateralization (87.5%), stage III neovascular glaucoma (53.33%), had blindness (50%), and IOP > 21 mmHg (32%). Based on funduscopic characteristics, there is severe enlargement of the cup disc ratio (63.33%), nasalization of blood vessels (100%), cupping (98.33%), optic disc bleeding (66.67%), peripapillary atrophy (73.33%), and RNFL thinning (90%). Based on the characteristics of diabetic retinopathy, the highest number was shown in patients with PDR (66.67%), type 2 DM (100%), and who had diabetes for 5-9 years (43.75%).
