PENGARUH TIPE KANDANG DAN USIA TERHADAP PROFIL DARAH
AYAM BROILER DI FARM IE SEUM


ABSTRAK

Ayam broiler merupakan jenis ayam hasil dari budidaya teknologi peternakan yang memiliki ciri khas pertumbuhannya yang cepat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat gambaran profil darah ayam broiler yang dipelihara di Farm Ie Seum dengan tipe kandang postal, panggung dan closed house. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel darah ayam broiler sebanyak 36, sampel diambil pada ayam berusia 10 hari dan 25 hari. Sampel diambil di Farm Ie Seum, pengambilan sampel dilakukan melalui vena jugularis dengan menggunakan spuit 3 mL. Darah yang didapat, dihomogenkan dengan larutan antikoagulan dan diperiksa ke Laboratorium Riset untuk melihat gambaran profil darahnya, pemeriksaan dilakukan menggunakan alat Hematology Analyzer. Dari data yang didapat, jumlah eritrosit tertinggi ayam broiler usia 10 hari berada pada kandang panggung, sedangkan pada usia 25 hari eritrosit tertinggi berada pada kandang closed house. Jumlah leukosit tertinggi pada ayam broiler berusia 10 hari dan 25 hari berada pada kandang postal. Kadar hemoglobin tertinggi ayam broiler berusia 10 hari dan 25 hari berada pada kandang postal. Nilai hematokrit tertinggi pada ayam broiler berusia 10 hari berada pada kandang closed house, sedangkan pada usia 25 hari nilai hematokrit tertinggi berada pada kandang. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa tipe kandang tidak berpengaruh terhadap profil darah ayam broiler namun perbedaan usia menunjukan adanya pengaruh pada profil darah ayam broiler yang di pelihara di Farm Ie Suem Banda Aceh.

EFFECT OF HOUSES TYPE AND AGE ON BLOOD PROFILE OF BROILERS IN FARM IE SEUM ABSTRACT Broilers is a type of chicken resulting from the cultivation of farm technology which has the characteristic of fast growth. This study aims to describe the blood profile of broilers kept at Farm Ie Seum with types of houses postal, staged and closed house. In this study, 36 broilers blood samples were used, the samples were taken when the chickens were 10 days old and 25 days old. Samples were taken at Farm Ie Seum, sampling was done through the jugular vein using a 3 mL syringe. The blood obtained was homogenized with an anticoagulant solution and checked in the Research Laboratory to see a picture of the blood profile, the examination was carried out using a Hematology Analyzer. From the data, the highest number of erythrocytes of 10 day old broilers was in a staged house, meanwhile, at the age of 25 days, the highest erythrocytes were in a closed house. The highest number of leukocytes of broilers aged 10 days and 25 days were in a postal house. The highest hemoglobin levels of broilers aged 10 days and 25 days were in a postal house. The highest hematocrit value in 10-day-old broilers was in a closed house, meanwhile, at the age of 25 days, the highest hematocrit value was in the postal house. It can be concluded that the type of houses and age have no effect on the blood profile of broilers kept at Farm Ie Suem Banda Aceh. Keywords: Broiler chicken, blood profile, houses type
