ABSTRAK
Keberadaan game biasanya sangat digandrungi oleh anak laki - laki, namun
seiring dengan kebebasan dan kemajuan teknologi game tidak hanya diperoleh di
rental playstation tetapi juga bisa dimainkan di hp bersama teman – teman secara
online, dengan demikian keberadaan game tidak hanya disukai oleh laki – laki tetapi
juga perempuan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui dan menjelaskan bagaimana
analisis gender terhadap gamers perempuan di Kota Banda Aceh. Teori yang
digunakan ialah teori gender melalui konsep nature dan nurture. Metode penelitian
ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Informan
penelitian 10 orang wanita pemain game online Teknik pengumpulan data dengan
wawancara dan observasi. Hasil penelitian dapat diketahui bahwa eksistensi
perempuan memainkan game online di Kota Banda Aceh mulai sejak mereka
mengenal game online dari media sosial, media online dan kawan sejawat. Akibat
akses game online yang mudah dilakukan oleh perempuan, mereka bisa bermain baik
di lingkungan rumah mereka dan disaat duduk bersama teman-temanya di cafe-cafe.
Tujuan Perempuan Bermaian Game Online di antaranya menghilangkan rasa jenuh,
bosan dan stress terhadap pekerjaan. Faktor yang membuat perempuan eksis
memainkan game online di Kota Banda Aceh untuk menghilangkan kebosanan,
faktor lingkungan pertemanan dan adanya rasa ketertarikan terhadap game online.

ABSTRACT The existence of games is usually very loved by boys, but along with the freedom and advancement of game technology, it is not only obtained on Playstation rentals but can also be played on cellphones with friends online, thus the existence of games is not only liked by men but also by friends. also female. The purpose of this study is to find out and explain how the gender analysis of female gamers in Banda Aceh City is. The theory used is the theory of gender through the concepts of nature and nurture. This research method uses a qualitative approach with the type of descriptive research. Research informants 10 female online game players Data collection techniques by interview and observation. The results of the study can be seen that the existence of women playing online games in Banda Aceh City began since they were familiar with online games from social media, online media and peers. Due to the easy access to online games by women, they can play both in their home environment and while sitting with their friends in cafes. The goals of women playing online games include eliminating boredom, boredom and stress on work. Factors that make women exist to play online games in Banda Aceh City to relieve boredom, environmental factors of friendship and a sense of interest in online games.
