Pembelajaran fisika merupakan suatu proses pembelajaran yang melibat peserta didik dalam mempelajari alam dan gejala-gelajanya melalui serangkain proses ilmiah. Proses belajar tersebut diperlukan adanya suatu penggerak atau motivasi dalam belajar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh motivasi belajar peserta didik setelah diajarkan menggunakan model discovery learning berbasis blended learning pada pembelajaran fisika. Penelitian ini mengunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian adalah “pre experimental design dengan desain one group pretest-posttest design”. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas X IPA yang berjumlah 7 kelas. Pengambil sampel dilakukan dengan pemilihan secara acak (simple random sampling)sehingga diperoleh peserta didik kelas X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kutacane. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah skala penilaian motivasi belajar (pretest dan posttest) dan lembar observasi peserta didik. Data hasil skala penilaian motivasi belajar dianalisis dengan likert’s summeted rating, uji normalitas dan uji t. Berdasarkan data hasil penelitian uji-t menggunakan paired sample t-test menggunakan SPSS didapatkan H0 ditolak, artinya terdapat peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik yang diajarkan menggunakan model discovery learning berbasis blended learning sehingga menimbulkan motivasi dan minat belajar peserta didik.

Keywords: Discovery Learning Model, Blended Learning, Learning Motivation Physics learning is a learning process that involves students in studying nature and its symptoms through a series of scientific processes. The learning process requires a driving force or motivation in learning. This study aims to determine the effect of students' learning motivation after being taught using a blended learning-based discovery learning model in physics learning. This research uses a quantitative approach. The type of research is "pre experimental design with one group pretest-posttest design". The population of this study were all students of class X IPA which amounted to 7 classes. The sample was taken by random selection (simple random sampling) in order to obtain students of class X IPA 2 SMA Negeri 1 Kutacane. Data collection techniques used are learning motivation assessment scales (pretest and posttest) and student observation sheets. Data on the results of the learning motivation assessment scale were analyzed using Likert's summeted rating, normality test and t test. Based on the data from the t-test research using the paired sample t-test using SPSS, it was found that H0 was rejected, meaning that there was an increase in the learning motivation of students who were taught using a blended learning-based discovery learning model, thereby creating motivation and interest in learning for students.
