(CTL) to Improve Writing Skill ill Descriptive Text

This script is entitled "The Implementation of Contextual Teaching and Learning to Improve Writing Skill in Descriptive Text". The objective of this arc to find out whether Contextual Teaching and Learning is effective in improving students' writing skill and to find out the potential problems perceived in the application of contextual teaching and learning. Writing is the important part of language learning process since writing is one of the ways to expressing the idea However, the writer found that during the leaching training some students have some difficulties in writing. They cannot develop the idea and fill bored in teaching learning process. To overcome the problems mentioned, the writer tries to discuss Contextual Teaching and Learning as an effective and innovative approach to improve the students' achievement in writing skill. The writer uses library research as the method in which all the materials are accessed through the library and the website on the internet, and described them in a qualitative manner. After doing deep analysis, the related theories show that Contextual Teaching and Learning is the effectiveness approach which can be applied to solve the problems in improving students' writing skill. This study is expected to be beneficial as a preliminary study for other researchers.
