Di Indonesia, pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor pemasukan penting dalam pembangunan perekonomian negara. Aceh merupakan wilayah yang memiliki potensi wisata yang besar dengan pesona kekayaan alam, keberagaman seni budaya, dan peninggalan sejarah. Salah satu tujuan wisata yang terkenal di Aceh adalah wisata pantai Lampuuk. Dari data yang ada, jumlah wisatawan yang berkunjung ke Aceh mengalami kenaikan sebesar 5-25% setiap tahunnya. Oleh karena itu, dibutuhkan akomodasi yang dapat mewadahi kegiatan para wisatawan yang datang berkunjung. Hotel resort adalah akomodasi berupa kawasan yang dikelola secara komersil yang menyediakan akomodasi penginapan, makan, minum, serta jasa lain untuk umum dengan fasilitas khusus unutuk kegiatan berekreasi. Perancangan ini berlokasi di Pantai Momong, Meunasah Balee, Lampuuk, Kec. Lhoknga, Kabupatan Aceh Besar. Tema perancangan yang dipilih adalah arsitektur organik yang filosofinya digunakan sebagai dasar untuk menciptakan keselarasan antara objek rancangan dengan lingkungan sehingga fungsi objek dapat dihadirkan dengan baik. Tema diterapkan pada desain bangunan, tata letak pada lahan, pemakaian bahan dan material bangunan, serta sistem pengolahan limbah pada kawasan.

One of the many popular tourist destination in Aceh is the Lampuuk beach. According to the data obtained, the amount of tourists visiting Aceh has increased by 5-25% every year. Therefore, accommodation is needed to accommodate the activities of tourists who come to visit. Resort hotel is a commercially managed accommodation that provide lodging, dining, drink, and other services to the public with particular facilities for recreational activities. The site is located at Momong Beach, Meunasah Balee, Lampuuk, Lhoknga district, Aceh Besar. The theme of the design selected is organic architecture which philosophy is used as a basis to create a harmony between the design objects and its natural environment so that the function of objects can be presented properly. The theme of the design is implemented to the design of the building, the layout of the land, the use of building materials, as well as the waste treatment system in the designed area.
