ABSTRAK
Penelitian ini berjudul “Strategi Komunikasi Organisasi Dalam Mempertahankan Eksistensi Pada Ipelmabar – Banda Aceh Periode 2013-2015 dan Periode 2015-2018”. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui strategi komunikasi yang di terapkan oleh Ipelmabar – Banda Aceh periode 2013-2015 dan periode 2015-2018 sehingga bisa menunjang eksistensi organisasi. Setiap masa periode mempunyai kepemimpinan yang berbeda, maka dari itu peneliti melakukan penelitian dan mengkaji strategi komunikasi dan komunikasi organisasi dari kedua periode ini. 57 tahun sudah Ipelmabar berdiri, maka kejayaan Ipelmabar menjadi tanda tanya seperti apa strategi komunikasi yang di terapkan sehingga bisa eksis berdiri hingga saat ini dengan melakukan penelitian di dua periode masa Ipelmabar.
Pendekatan yang dilakukan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Alat pengumpulan wawancara pada penelitian ini adalah, wawancara semi terstruktur. Subjek informan dalam penelitian mengambil teknik purposive dengan menentukan subjek penelitian berdasarkan kriteria-kriteria tertentu. Adapun kriteria dalam penelitian ini adalah ketua umum, pengurus presidium (pengurus teras), dan ketua bidang. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Human Relations. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Ipelmabar menggunakan strategi komunikasi yang berbeda setiap periode nya, mulai dari kebijakan organisasi, komunikasi organisasi, hingga program kegiatan yang berbeda.
Namun dalam proses nya, juga ada hambatan ketika proses berjalan nya roda organisasi. Dilihat dari segi eksistensi, setiap periode terjadi peningkatan secara elektabilitas dan kemajuan organisasi, seperti hal nya pada masa periode 2013-2015 Ipelmabar berhasil mengeluarkan akta kelahiran organisasi dan sah secara badan hukum serta menjadi bagian percepatan proses penegerian Universitas Teuku Umar (UTU), sedangkan pada masa periode 2015-2018 Ipelmabar berhasil menghasilkan kader pengurus yang berprestasi dan bekerja di parlemen Aceh, serta renovasi asrama putra Ipelmabar di Lamreung, Aceh Besar.

ABSTRACT
This study is entitled "Organizational Communication Strategies in Maintaining Existence in Ipelmabar - Banda Aceh Period 2013-2015 and Period 2015-2018". This study aims to determine the communication strategy adopted by Ipelmabar - Banda Aceh for the period 2013-2015 and the period 2015-2018 so that it can support the existence of the organization. Each period has a different leadership period, therefore researchers conducted research and reviewed the communication strategies and organizational communication from these two periods. 57 years after Ipelmabar was established, then the glory of Ipelmabar became a question mark as to what communication strategies were implemented so that it can exist to this day by conducting research in two periods of Ipelmabar.
The approach taken in this research is descriptive qualitative. The interview collection tool in this study is a semi-structured interview. The informant subject in the study took a purposive technique by determining the research subjects based on certain criteria. The criteria in this study are the general chairperson, presidium management (core management), and field chairperson. The theory used in this research is the Human Relations theory. The results showed that Ipelmabar used a different communication strategy each period, ranging from organizational policy, organizational communication, to different program activities.
But in the process, there are also obstacles when the process runs the organization's wheels. In terms of existence, each period there was an increase in electability and organizational progress, as in the period 2013-2015 Ipelmabar succeeded in issuing birth certificates of legal and legal entities and became part of the acceleration of the Teuku Umar University (UTU) establishment process, while in the period of 2015-2018 Ipelmabar managed to produce a cadre of management who performed and worked in the Aceh parliament, and completed the Ipelmabar women's dormitory and renovation of the Ipelmabar men's dormitory in Lamreung, Aceh Besar.
