ABSTRAK

Persentase ASI Eksklusif di Provinsi Aceh tahun 2013 sebesar 48%, tahun 2014 meningkat sebesar 55%, tahun 2015 mengalami penurunan sebesar 53%. Penyebab penurunan pemberian ASI eksklusif dikarenakan kurangnya pendampingan petugas kesehatan, keluhan fisik ibu yang sering kelelahan di malam hari serta keadaan lingkungan yang mengikuti tren penggunaan susu botol. Sesuai dengan laporan sasaran pemberian ASI eksklusif dari 71 orang ibu, capian pemberian ASI secara eksklusif hanya 21 orang (30%). Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pelaksanaan pencapaian ASI Eksklusif di Kota Banda Aceh. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah survei analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional study. Populasi dalam penelitian ini sebesar 702 ibu yang mempunyai bayi dan sampel sebesar 106 ibu yang mempunyai bayi usia 6-24 bulan. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan accidental sampling. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan kuesioner yang dianalisis dengan statistik univariat, bivariat dan mulitivariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pencapaian ASI eksklusif adalah kondisi kesehatan (p value = 0,0001), dukungan petugas kesehatan (p value = 0,005), dukungan sosial (p value = 0,004) dan pengetahuan (p value = 0,018), sedangkan faktor yang paling dominan mempengaruhi pencapaian ASI eksklusif adalah kondisi kesehatan ibu. Kesimpulan diharapkan kepada ibu menyusui untuk menjaga kondisi kesehatan agar dapat memberikan ASI secara eksklusif.


ABSTRACT

The percentage of exclusive breastfeeding in Province of Aceh in 2013 is about 48%, it increased in 2014 about 55%, and turned to step down to 53% in 2015. The causes of digression of exclusive breastfeeding supply are lack of health staff assistance, mother’s physical complains due to her exhaustion at night, and environmental condition which supports the usage of bottled milk. In accordance with the report of the target of exclusive breastfeeding, among 71 mothers, only 21 ones who have attained exclusive breastfeeding (30%). The aim of this study is to recognize the factors that affect the implementation of exclusive breastfeeding attainment in Banda Aceh City. The design of the study used is an analytical survey with a cross-sectional study approach. The population in this study is 702 mothers who have babies and there are 106 ones among them who have babies aged 6-24 months. The sampling technique is accidental sampling. The research instrument is a questionnaire analyzed with univariate, bivariate, and multivariate statistics. The result shows that factors affecting the exclusive breastfeeding attainment are health condition (p = 0.0001), health staff support (p = 0.005), social support (p = 0.004) and knowledge (p = 0.018), whereas the factor which dominantly affects exclusive breastfeeding attainment is mother’s health condition. The conclusion is expected to breastfeeding mothers to keep their health in order to supply breast milk exclusively.
