Penelitian ini bertujuan mendeskripsikan (1) pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur (2) pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain berasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur (3) pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur. Sumber data penelitian ini adalah tiga novel karya Arafat Nur, yaitu “Burung Terbang di Kelam Malam” (2014), “Tempat Paling Sunyi” (2015), dan “Tanah Surga Merah” (2016). Data penelitian ini adalah kata, frasa, klausa, kalimat, dan paragraf yang berkenaan dengan pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri, pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain, dan pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh yang terdapat dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur yang dikaji. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan objektif. Data penelitian dikumpulkan melalui teknik studi pustaka. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan diri sendiri berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur ditemukan tiga belas jenis yaitu, keberanian hidup, realita hidup, tanggung jawab, teguh pendirian, kejujuran, kemandirian moral, keberanian moral, kerendahan hati, kritis, budi pekerti luhur, nasionalisme, mawas diri dan berhati-hati dalam bicara. Pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan manusia lain berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur ditemukan delapan jenis yaitu, adil terhadap manusia lain, solidaritas, perkawinan, menjaga tata kerama, taat menjalankan perintah, kasih sayang, menjauhi perbuatan buruk, dan minta maaf. Pesan moral hubungan manusia dengan Tuhan berdasarkan stratifikasi sosial tokoh dalam novel-novel karya Arafat Nur ditemukan empat jenis yaitu, akidah, ibadah, berdoa kepada Tuhan, dan bersyukur atas nikmat Tuhan.

This study aims to describe (1) the moral message of human relationships with oneself based on the social stratification of the characters in the novels by Arafat Nur (2) the moral message of human relationships with other human beings based on the social stratification of the characters in the novels by Arafat Nur (3) moral relationships with God based on the social stratification of the characters in the novels by Arafat Nur. The data sources of this research are three novels by Arafat Nur, "Flying Birds in the Night" (2014), "The Most Silent Place" (2015), and "Red Paradise Land" (2016). The data of this study are words, phrases, clauses, sentences, and paragraphs that deal with the moral message of human relationships with oneself, the moral message of human relationships with other human beings, and the moral message of human relationships with God based on the social stratification of the characters contained in the novels the work of Arafat Nur studied. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative. This research uses an objective approach. Research data collected through literature study techniques. The results of this study conclude that the moral message of human relationships with oneself based on the social stratification of the characters in Arafat Nur's novels found thirteen types namely, courage of life, reality of life, responsibility, firm stance, honesty, moral independence, moral courage, careful, critical, noble character, nationalism, introspective and careful in speech. The moral message of human relationships with other human beings based on the social stratification of the characters in Arafat Nur's novels found eight types: fair to other human beings, solidarity, marriage, guardianship, obedience to command, affection, avoid bad deeds, and apologize . The moral message of human relationships with God based on the social stratification of the characters in Arafat Nur's novels found four types namely, aqidah, worship, pray to God, and give thanks for God's blessings.
