Dukungan sosial adalah bantuan yang diberikan kepada seseorang dalam menghadapi masalah seperti nasihat, kasih sayang, perhatian, petunjuk, dan dapat juga berupa barang atau jasa yang diberikan oleh keluarga maupun teman. Dukungan sosial merupakan faktor penting yang mempengaruhi tingkat quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara dukungan sosial dengan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Universitas Syiah Kuala dengan total keseluruhan 27.434 mahasiswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Teknik perhitungan sampel menggunakan rumus slovin yang menghasilkan sampel 400 mahasiswa. Metode pengumpulan data menggunakan skala likert yaitu dukungan sosial dan quarter life crisis. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif korelasional. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa dukungan sosial pada mahasiswa berada pada kategori tinggi dengan persentase (38%) dan quarter life crisis pada mahasiswa berada pada pada kategori sedang dengan persentase (56%). Berdasarkan dukungan sosialnya, Fakultas Kedokteran Hewan memiliki dukungan sosial yang paling tinggi. Sedangkan berdasarkan quarter life crisis, Fakultas Pertanian memiliki quarter life crisis paling tinggi. Berdasarkan hasil analisis korelasi antara dukungan sosial dengan quarter life crisis diperoleh nilai r hitung sebanyak -0,389 yang menjelaskan adanya korelasi yang lemah antara dukungan sosial dengan quarter life crisis. Adapun nilai signifikasi 0,000 maka nilai signifikasi lebih besar dari 0,05 dengan demikian terdapat hubungan yang negatif dan signifikan antara variabel X (dukungan sosial) dan Y (quarter life crisis). Artinya, semakin tinggi dukungan sosial mahasiswa maka semakin rendah quarter life crisis mahasiswa tersebut begitu juga sebaliknya.

Social support is assistance given to someone in dealing with problems such as advice, affection, attention, instructions, and can also be in the form of goods or services provided by family and friends. Social support is an important factor that affects the level of quarter life crisis in students. This study aims to determine the relationship between social support and quarter life crisis in Syiah Kuala University students. The population in this study were students of Syiah Kuala University with a total of 27,434 students. The sampling technique used simple random sampling technique. The sample calculation technique uses the slovin formula which produces a sample of 400 students. The data collection method uses a Likert scale, namely social support and quarter life crisis. The approach used in this research is quantitative with descriptive correlational research. The results of this study indicate that social support in students is in the high category with a percentage of (38%) and quarter life crisis in students is in the medium category with a percentage of (56%). Based on social support, the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine has the highest social support. Meanwhile, based on quarter life crisis, the Faculty of Agriculture has the highest quarter life crisis. Based on the results of the correlation analysis between social support and quarter life crisis, the calculated r value is -0.389 which explains the weak correlation between social support and quarter life crisis. As for the significance value of 0.000, the significance value is greater than 0.05, thus there is a negative and significant relationship between variables X (social support) and Y (quarter life crisis). That is, the higher the student's social support, the lower the student's quarter life crisis and vice versa. Keywords: Social Support, Quarter Life Crisis, College Students
