Rendahnya hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar disebabkan beberapa faktor, diantaranya kurangnya minat siswa dalam belajar. Salah satu model pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar yaitu model Problem Based Learning dimana model ini melibatkan siswa untuk mencari solusi dari masalah kontekstual. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar pada materi bangun ruang sisi datar melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning di SMPN 1 Simpang Kiri Kota Subulussalam dapat mencapai KKM. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian pre-eksperimen menggunakan design one-shot case study. Populasi penelitian ini seluruh siswa kelas VIII, sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling kelas VIII C berjumlah 30 siswa dimana atas pertimbangan guru karena KKM siswa belum tercapai. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan instrumen tes yaitu berupa post-test siswa, dengan menggunakan Uji-t. Berdasarkan analisis data diketahui bahwa hasil belajar siswa melalui model Problem Based Learning memiliki rata-rata 85,7. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa rata-rata hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning di SMPN 1 Simpang Kiri Kota Subulussalam dapat mencapai KKM.

Under the guidance of Drs. M. Hasbi, M.Pd., and Dr. Dwi Fadhiliani, S.Pd., M.Mat. The low student learning outcomes in 3D shapes with flat faces are caused by several factors, including students' lack of interest in learning. One learning model that can be applied to improve student learning outcomes in 3D shapes with flat faces is the Problem Based Learning model, where this model involves students finding solutions to contextual problems. This research aims to determine learning outcomes on 3D shapes with flat faces through the application of the Problem Based Learning model at SMPN 1 Simpang Kiri, Subulussalam City, which can achieve KKM. This research uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental type of research using a one-shot case study design. The population of this study were all students in class VIII, the sample for this study used purposive sampling in class VIII C, totaling 30 students, which was based on the teacher's consideration because the students' KKM had not been achieved. Data collection was carried out using test instruments, namely in the form of student post-tests, using the t-test. Based on data analysis, it is known that student learning outcomes through the Problem Based Learning model have an average of 85.7. It can be concluded that the average student learning outcomes through the application of the Problem Based Learning model at SMPN 1 Simpang Kiri, Subulussalam City can reach the KKM.
