Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh suatu masalah yaitu kurang aktifnya siswa dalam pembelajaran sehingga masih banyak siswa yang mendapat hasil belajar yang rendah. Salah satu alternatif pembelajaran yang dapat diterapkan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa adalah model kooperatif tipe Jigsaw. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dan jenis penelitian pre-experimental design dengan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Sampel dalam penelitian ini dipilih secara simple random sampling yaitu siswa kelas VII-B yang berjumlah 28 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa tes dalam bentuk soal uraian yang diberikan pada pretest dan posttest. Data penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan statistik paired sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. Hal ini ditunjukkan dari hasil analisis data yaitu nilai t_hitung sama dengan 9,24 dan t_tabel sama dengan 1,7033. Oleh karena 9,24 lebih dari 1,7033, maka H_0 ditolak dan H_1 diterima. Implikasi dari penelitian ini model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw berpengaruh positif terhadap hasil belajar siswa, sehingga model ini bisa dijadikan alternatif pilihan model pembelajaran dalam upaya meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

This study was motivated by a problem, namely the lack of active students in learning so that there are still many students who get low learning outcomes. One of the learning alternatives that can be applied to improve student learning outcomes is the Jigsaw type cooperative model. This study aims to determine the effect of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. This study used a quantitative approach and a pre-experimental research design with a one group pretest-posttest design. The population in this study were all seventh grade students of SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. The sample in this study was selected by simple random sampling, namely class VII-B students totaling 28 students. The instrument used was a test in the form of description questions given on the pretest and posttest. The data of this study were analyzed using paired sample t-test statistics. The results showed that there was an effect of the application of the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model on student learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 10 Banda Aceh. This is shown from the results of data analysis, namely the value of t_hitung equals 9,24 and t_table equals 1,7033. Because 9,24 more than 1,7033, then H_0 is rejected and H_1 is accepted. The implication of this research is that the Jigsaw type cooperative learning model has a positive effect on student learning outcomes, so this model can be used as an alternative choice of learning model.
