Gampong Ulee Ateung terletak di Kecamatan Julok Kabupaten Aceh Timur, Gampong Ulee Ateung merupakan salah satu gampong yang mendapatkan program bantuan stimulan perumahan swadaya dari Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Perumahan Rakyat Direktorat Jenderal Perumahan Balai Pelaksana Penyediaan Perumahan Provinsi Aceh. Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya ini diberikan kepada masyarakat yang berpenghasilan rendah. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu untuk mengetahui pemeliharaan rumah layak huni Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya terhadap keberlanjutan rumah hunian yang layak, serta faktor penghambat kegiatan pemeliharaan rumah layak huni Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya terhadap keberlanjutan rumah hunian yang layak dengan menggunakan teori Manajemen Aset oleh Gima Sugiama. Metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian ini menujukkan bahwa dilapangan masih belum terlaksana sepenuhnya pemeliharaan aset rumah layak huni sehingga masih ditemukannya kondisi rumah yang tidak terawat secara keseluruhan oleh pemilik rumah, salah satu bagian yang sering terjadi kerusakan yaitu di papan dinding rumah. Adapun faktor penghambat pemeliharaan rumah layak huni Program Bantuan Stimulan Perumahan Swadaya terhadap keberlanjutan rumah hunian yang layak yaitu kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat penerima mengenai pemeliharaan aset rumah layak huni dan minimnya pertanggungjawaban masyarakat penerima dalam melakukan pemeliharaan aset rumah layak huni. Diharapkan pemerintah memberikan pemahaman kepada masyarakat serta memberikan informasi bahwa ada ruang konsultasi bagi masyarakat terkait permasalahan pemeliharaan aset rumah layak huni.

Ulee Ateung Gampong, located in Julok district of East Aceh district, is one of the gampong that has received private housing stimulation assistance program from the Ministry of Public Works and People's Housing of the Directorate-General of Housing, Housing Provision Executive Hall of the province of Aceh. This Swadaya Housing Incentive Assistance Program is given to low-income communities. The objective of this study is to find out the maintenance of a decent housing Swadaya Housing Incentive Assistance Program for the sustainability of decent residential houses, as well as the inhibitory factors of the activities of maintenance of an decent home Swazaya housing incentive Program for sustainable decent house by using the asset management theory by Gima Sugiama. The method used is a descriptive qualitative approach with interview methods, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that the site is still not fully implemented the maintenance of housing properties so it is still found that the condition of the house is not cared for in general by the homeowner, one of the parts that frequently occur damage is in the wall board of the home. There is a lack of understanding of the recipient community regarding the maintenance of the proper housing assets and the minimum responsibility of the beneficiary community to maintain the proper household assets. It is hoped that the government will provide understanding to the public and provide information that there is a consultation room for the public regarding the maintenance of habitable housing assets.
