Indonesia merupakan salah satu negara yang menghadapi risiko penyebaran penyakit emerging dan re-emerging dan berpotensi zoonosis. Untuk mengantisipasi ancaman tersebut sangat diperlukan ketersediaan sistem surveilans yang menghubungkan kesehatan hewan dengan kesehatan manusia melalui sistem informasi kesehatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk melihat sejauh mana pemahaman, kepuasan dan kendala dalam penggunaan sistem informasi kesehatan hewan di Kabupaten Aceh Besar. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan pendekatan cross-sectional, sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 20 pegawai yang bertugas di 5 Puskeswan di Kabupaten Aceh Besar yaitu Puskeswan Kuta Baro, Puskeswan Kajhu, Puskeswan Blang Bintang, Puskeswan Lhoong dan Puskeswan Seulimum. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagain besar 85% responden memiliki tingkat pemahaman tergolong baik terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi kesehatan hewan, Sedangkan sebanyak 15% responden memiliki pemahaman kurang baik. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian menunjukkan tingkat kepuasaan sebanyak 75% responden tergolong baik terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi kesehatan hewan dan sebanyak 25% responden sangat tidak puas. Selanjutnya hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan sebanyak 45% responden menyatakan tidak ada kendala terhadap penggunaan sistem informasi kesehatan hewan, Sementara itu sejumlah 55% responden menyebutkan menemukan kendala. Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pemahaman dan kepuasan terhadap penggunaan aplikasi sistem informasi kesehatan hewan di wilayah Kabupaten Aceh Besar tergolong baik begitupun sebagian penggunaan masih menemukan kendala.

To anticipate this threat, it is very necessary to have a surveillance system that links animal health with human health through a health information system. This research aims to see the extent of understanding, satisfaction and obstacles in using the animal health information system in Aceh Besar District. This research was conducted using a cross-sectional approach, the sample used was 20 employees who served in 5 health centers in Aceh Besar Regency, namely Kuta Baro Health Center, Kajhu Health Center, Blang Bintang Health Center, Lhoong Health Center and Seulimum Health Center. Based on the research results, it shows that 85% of respondents have a relatively good level of understanding regarding the use of animal health information systems, while 15% of respondents have a poor understanding. Furthermore, the research results showed that 75% of respondents were satisfied with the use of the animal health information system and 25% of respondents were very dissatisfied. Furthermore, the results of this research show that 45% of respondents stated that there were no obstacles to the use of the animal health information system. Meanwhile, 55% of respondents said they had found obstacles. From the research results, it can be concluded that understanding and satisfaction with the use of animal health information system applications in the Aceh Besar Regency area is classified as good, although some users still encounter problems.
