Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah jumlah UMKM dan koperasi berpengaruh terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di lima kabupaten/kota termiskin di Provinsi Aceh. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode kuantitatif menggunakan analisis data panel, jenis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data sekunder, data yang diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik Aceh dan Dinas Koperasi dan UKM Provinsi Aceh. Data penelitian ini terdiri dari variabel dependen, yaitu pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Aceh dan variabel independen, yaitu jumlah unit UMKM dan Koperasi selama periode 2016-2022. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa variabel jumlah unit UMKM dan Koperasi secara bersama-sama memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Aceh (Sig. 0,03 < 0,05). Variabel jumlah unit UMKM secara parsial memiliki pengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Aceh (Sig. 0,03 < 0,05). Variabel jumlah unit Koperasi secara parsial memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi Provinsi Aceh (Sig. 0,5 > 0,05). Berdasarkan hasil dari penelitian ini diharapkan kepada pemerintah Aceh untuk terus memperhatikan perkembangan Usaha Mikro Kecil Menengah (UMKM) dan Koperasi agar dapat berperan lebih baik dalam meningkatkan pertumbuhan ekonomi

ABSTRACT Title : The Influence of MSMEs and Cooperatives on Economic Growth in the Five Poorest Districts in Aceh Author : Muhammad Faris NIM : 1901101010138 Faculty/Department : Economics and Business/Development Economics Mentor : Ferayanti, S.E., M.Si. This research aims to find out whether the number of MSMEs and cooperatives has an effect on economic growth in the five poorest districts/cities in Aceh Province. The method used in this research is a quantitative method using panel data analysis, the type of data used in this research is secondary data, data obtained from the Aceh Central Statistics Agency and the Aceh Province Cooperative and SME Service. This research data consists of a dependent variable, namely the economic growth of Aceh Province and an independent variable, namely the number of MSME and Cooperative units during the 2016-2022 period. The results show that the variables of the number of MSME and Cooperative units together have a significant influence on the economic growth of Aceh Province (Sig. 0,03 < ,05). The variable number of MSME units partially has a positive and significant influence on the economic growth of Aceh Province (Sig. 0,03 < 0,05). The variable number of cooperative units partially has a negative and insignificant influence on the economic growth of Aceh Province (Sig. 0,5 > 0,05). Based on the results of this research, it is hoped that the Aceh government will continue to pay attention to the development of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) and Cooperatives so that they can play a better role in increasing economic growth.
