Pemberian ASI eksklusif mulai sejak bayi berusia 0-6 bulan pertama kehidupan, memberikan dampak positif bagi bayi dan juga ibu. Beberapa faktor seperti nutrisi ibu, frekuensi menyusui, pengetahuan ibu, dukungan keluarga, pekerjaan, dan stres yang dialami ibu dapat memengaruhi keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hubungan tingkat stres pada ibu menyusui dengan keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif di Puskesmas Banda Raya Banda Aceh. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross sectional. Sampel pada penelitian ini adalah ibu yang memiliki bayi usia 6-12 bulan berjumlah 68 orang. Pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan total sampling. Data tingkat stres ibu diperoleh dari hasil pengisian kuesiner Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan responden dengan tingkat stres ringan memberikan ASI eksklusif (84,9%). Responden dengan tingkat stres sedang mayoritas tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif (60,7%), dan responden dengan tingkat stres berat tidak memberikan ASI eksklusif (100%). Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman Rank dengan p value sebesar 0,000 (p < 0,05) dan nilai koefisien korelasi – 0,503 (hubungan sedang). Dapat disimpulkan terdapat hubungan tingkat stres pada ibu menyusui terhadap keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif, yaitu semakin ringan tingkat stres akan semakin tinggi keberhasilan pemberian ASI eksklusif.

Exclusive breastfeeding begins when the baby is 0-6 months of life, has a positive impact on the baby as well as the mother. Several factors such as maternal nutrition, breastfeeding frequency, maternal knowledge, family support, employment, and stress experienced by mothers can affect the success of exclusive breastfeeding. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between stress levels in breastfeeding mothers and the success of exclusive breastfeeding at the Puskesmas Banda Raya Banda Aceh. This research is analytic observational research with a cross sectional approach. The sample in this study were mothers who had babies aged 6-12 months, totaling 68 people. Sampling using total sampling. Maternal stress level data were obtained from the results of filling out the Perceived Stress Scale (PSS-10) questionnaire. The results showed that respondents with mild stress levels provided exclusive breastfeeding (84.9%). Respondents with moderate stress levels mostly did not provide exclusive breastfeeding (60.7%), and respondents with severe stress levels did not provide exclusive breastfeeding (100%). Data analysis used the Spearman Rank correlation test with a p value of 0.000 (p < 0.05) and with a correlation coefficient value of -0.503 (moderate relationship). It can be concluded that there is a relationship between stress levels in breastfeeding mothers and the success of exclusive breastfeeding, namely the lighter the stress level, the higher the success of exclusive breastfeeding.
