Hasil belajar siswa pada materi statistika masih tergolong rendah sehingga belum mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Salah satu upaya untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa yaitu dengan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui ketuntasan hasil belajar matematika siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ingin Jaya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah penelitian eksperimen dengan menggunakan desain quasi experimental design. Populasi pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ingin Jaya. Sampel yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas VIII-C dengan jumlah 28 siswa. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan tes. Analisis data digunakan uji-t pihak kanan dengan taraf signifikan alpha sama dengan 0,05 dan dk sama dengan 27. Analisis data diperoleh thitung lebih dari ttabel, yaitu 2,04 lebih dari 1,70. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian adalah hasil belajar siswa pada materi statistika di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Ingin Jaya mencapai ketuntasan belajar. Implikasi penelitian ini yaitu model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD dapat diterapkan oleh guru pada pembelajaran matematika sebagai salah satu alternatif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa.

The learning outcomes of students in the subject of statistics are still relatively low and have not reached mastery. One of the efforts to improve students' learning outcomes is through the implementation of the STAD cooperative learning model. The objective of this research is to determine the mastery of mathematical learning outcomes of students through the application of the STAD cooperative learning model in the eighth grade at SMP Negeri 2 Ingin Jaya. This research adopts a quantitative approach. The type of research used in this study is experimental research with a quasi-experimental design. The population of this study consists of all eighth-grade students at SMP Negeri 2 Ingin Jaya. The sample selected consists of 28 students from class VIII-C. Data collection was conducted through tests. Data analysis used a right-tailed t-test with a significance level of alpha equal to 0.05 and degrees of freedom (df) equal to 27. The data analysis resulted in a calculated t-value greater than the critical t-value, which is 2.04, exceeding 1.70. The findings of this research indicate that students' learning outcomes in the subject of statistics in the eighth grade at SMP Negeri 2 Ingin Jaya have reached mastery. The implication of this research is that the STAD cooperative learning model can be implemented by teachers in mathematics instruction as one of the alternatives to enhance students' learning outcomes
