Students’ internet access levels. (Students’ IAL) should be considered in online learning because it is a common problem reported in previous studies. Therefore, this research aims to determine the correlation between students’ IAL and their perception of online learning. The data was collected by using two Likert-scale questionnaires. The students’ IAL questionnaire consisted of five constructs: signal quality and internet speed, Wi-Fi availability, internet data cost, internet accessing devices for online learning, and online learning technology literacy. The students' perception questionnaire consisted of three constructs: online learning satisfaction, benefits, and challenges. These questionnaires were distributed to 209 undergraduate students at two universities in Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The data were analyzed quantitatively using correlational analyses. This research utilized a non-parametric Spearman's correlation coefficient at the significance level of 0.05. The result shows that students’ IAL mainly correlated with perceived satisfaction and benefits, but students' perception of challenges was influenced by other factors not investigated in this study. Based on this result, it can be concluded that online learning perception was affected by internet levels in several aspects. Therefore, teachers should consider students' internet access levels while planning the learning methods, such as mixing synchronous and asynchronous learning types to minimize students' internet speed problems and internet data expenses.
