Ulkus traumatik mukosa oral sering disebabkan oleh trauma, yang menimbulkan rasa nyeri dan menyebabkan ketidaknyamanan pada pasien. Daun kari (Murraya koenigii L.) mengandung flavonoid, alkaloid, tanin, dan saponin, memiliki aktivitas antiinflamasi, antibakteri, dan antioksidan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh sediaan patch ekstrak daun kari terhadap penyembuhan ulkus traumatik pada mukosa oral tikus Wistar. Sampel pada penelitian adalah tikus wistar jantan, usia 2-3 bulan, dan berat badan 200-250 gram, sebanyak 12 ckor yang dibagi menjadi 3 kelompok, yaitu kelompok perlakuan patch ekstrak daun kari, kelompok kontrol positif triamcinolone acetonide 0,1% dan kelompok kontrol negatif basis patch. Tikus-tikus tersebut dianastesi, kemudian diberikan trauma termal dengan menggunakan burnisher berdiameter 3 mm yang dipanaskan menggunakan lampu spiritus dan disentuhkan pada apeks lidah tikus Wistar selama satu detik dengan kedalaman mencapai satu per tiga burnisher. Perlakuan diberikan secara topikal 2 kali sehari setiap pagi dan sore. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan kelompok perlakuan patch ekstrak daun kari memiliki rata-rata hari penyembuhan ulkus traumatik paling cepat yaitu 6,6 (6 hari 14 jam 24 menit), diikuti kelompok kontrol positif triamcinolone acetonide 0,1% adalah 7,3 (7 hari 7 jam 12 menit) dan kelompok kontrol negatif basis patch adalah 7,6 (7 hari 14 jam 24 menit). Hasil analisis statistik dengan menggunakan uji oneway ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa patch ekstrak daun kari berpengaruh terhadap penyembuban ulkus traumatik pada mukosa oral (p=0,025). Disimpulkan bahwa sediaan patch ekstrak daun kari berpengaruh dalam mempercepat penyembuhan ulkus traumatik pada mukosa oral tikus Wistar

Traumatic ulcer of the oral mucosa are often caused by trauma, which is painful and discomfort for patient. Curry leaves (Murraya koenigii L.) contain flavonoids, alkaloids, tannins and saponins. Which are anti-inflammatory, antibacterial, and antioxidant. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of curry leaves extract patch on the healing of traumatic ulcer on the oral mucosa Wistar rats. The samples were 12 male Wistar rats, aged 2-3 months, and weight 200-250 grams, divided into 3 groups, the curry leaves extract patch group, the triamcinolone acetonide 0.1% positive control and the patch base negative control. The rats were anesthetized, then given thermal trauma using a burnisher 3 mm which was heated using a spirit lamp and touched to the apex of the Wistar rat's tongue for one second with a depth one-third of the burnisher. Treatment was given topically 2 times a day every morning and evening. The results show the curry leaves extract patch group had the fastest healing of traumatic ulcer is 6.6 (6 days 14 hours 24 minutes), followed by a positive control group 7.3 (7 days 7 hours 12 minutes) and negative control group 7.6 (7 days 14 hours 24 minutes). Results of statistical analysis using one-way ANOVA test showed the curry leaves extract patch had an effect on the healing of traumatic ulcers on the oral mucosa (p=0.025). It was concluded the curry leaves extract patch had an effect on accelerating the healing of traumatic ulcer on the oral mucosa of Wistar rats.
