Penelitian ini berjudul “Pengaruh Media Big Book Terhadap Hasil Belajar Peserta Didik Pada Tema 5 Pahlawanku Subtema 1 Perjuangan Para Pahlawan PB 1 di Kelas IV SD Negeri Montasik”. Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini guru kurang menggunakan media yang menarik dalam proses pembelajaran. Guru sering menggunakan metode ceramah dan pemberian tugas sehingga peserta didik menjadi bosan dan tidak tertarik untuk belajar. Adapun yang menjadi rumusan dalam penelitian ini adalah apakah ada pengaruh media Big Book terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada tema 5 pahlawanku subtema 1 perjuangan para pahlawan pb 1 di kelas IV SD Negeri Montasik?. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media Big Book terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada tema 5 pahlawanku subtema 1 perjuangan para pahlawan pb 1di kelas IV SD Negeri Montasik.
Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kuantitatif, jenis penelitian eksperimen semu (Quasi Experiment), dengan desain Pretest dan posttest one group design. Adapun yang menjadi populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah keseluruhan peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri Montasik, pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh yaitu keseluruhan dari populasi yang berjumlah 36 peserta didik. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes berupa pretest dan posttest. Hasil penelitian ini dianalisis menggunakan pengujian hipotesis statistik uji t.
Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pengujian hipotesis rumus statistik uji t, dimana pengujian thitung = 16,62. Sedangkan derajat kebebasan db=N–1=36 –1=35 dengan taraf signifikat α=0,05 diperoleh t(1- α) (N-1) = t(1- 0,05) (36-1) = t(0,95) (35) = 1,70. Karena thitung > ttabel yaitu 16,62 > 1,70 maka H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media Big Book terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik pada tema 5 pahlawanku subtema 1 perjuangan para pahlawan PB 1 di kelas IV SD Negeri Montasik”.

This research is entitled "The Effect of Big Book Media on Student Learning Outcomes in Theme 5 My Heroes Sub-theme 1 The Struggle of PB 1 Heroes in Class IV SD Negeri Montasik". The problem in this study is that the teacher does not use interesting media in the learning process. Teachers often use the lecture method and assign assignments so that students become bored and not interested in learning. As for the formulation in this research, is there any influence of Big Book media on student learning outcomes on the theme 5 heroes, sub-theme 1 the struggle of the heroes of PB 1 in class IV SD Negeri Montasik?. This study aims to determine the effect of Big Book media on student learning outcomes on the theme of 5 my heroes, sub-theme 1 of the struggle of the heroes of PB 1 in the fourth grade of SD Negeri Montasik. The approach used in this study is a quantitative approach, a quasi-experimental type of research, with a pretest and posttest one group design. The population in this study were all fourth grade students at SD Negeri Montasik. The sample was taken using a saturated sampling technique, namely the entire population of 36 students. Data collection techniques using tests in the form of pretest and posttest. The results of this study were analyzed using statistical hypothesis testing t test. The results showed that the hypothesis testing statistical formula was t-test, where the t-test = 16.62. While the degrees of freedom db=N–1=36–1=35 with a significant level =0,05 obtained t(1- ) (N-1) = t(1-0,05) (36-1) = t (0.95) (35) = 1.70. Because tcount > ttable which is 16.62 > 1.70 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, it can be concluded that there is an effect of using Big Book media on student learning outcomes on theme 5 my heroes, sub-theme 1 struggle of PB 1 heroes in grade IV SD Negeri Montasic".
