Manajemen laboratorium IPA di sekolah berperan strategis dalam meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan sains, namun implementasinya terhambat oleh sistem manajemen manual sehingga menyebabkan kesalahan administratif dan penjadwalan laboratorium yang tidak efektif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis efisiensi dan kinerja aplikasi SainsLab sebagai program aplikasi manajemen laboratorium IPA. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan campuran (mixed-methods) dengan analisis dekspriktif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling, terdiri dari 71 orang yang meliputi guru, pengelola laboratorium, dan siswa dari SMAN 1 dan SMAN 2 Lhokseumawe. Pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara dan angket. Analisis efisiensi dan kinerja aplikasi SainsLab menggunakan kerangka IT Balanced Scorecard, yang mencakup empat perspektif, yaitu kontribusi organisasi, orientasi pengguna, keunggulan operasional, dan orientasi masa depan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa efisiensi dan kinerja aplikasi SainsLab berada pada kategori efektif dengan total skor akumulatif sebesar 82%. Berdasarkan perspektif IT BSC, capaian tertinggi diraih pada perspektif Keunggulan Operasional dengan skor 85%, yang didorong oleh kehandalan teknis dan akurasi informasi stok alat/bahan. Perspektif Kontribusi Organisasi meraih skor 84%, membuktikan keberhasilan aplikasi dalam meminimalisir biaya operasional administrasi. Perspektif Orientasi Pengguna mencapai skor 80%, menunjukkan tingkat kepuasan yang baik dari sisi guru maupun siswa. Namun, perspektif Orientasi Masa Depan mencatatkan skor terendah sebesar 79%, Temuan kritis ini mengidentifikasi adanya kesenjangan pada indikator Integrasi Sistem yang hanya mencapai skor 62%, yang berimplikasi pada belum maksimalnya nilai rekomendasi aplikasi. Secara keseluruhan, aplikasi SainsLab telah memenuhi target KPI dan layak diimplementasikan sebagai program aplikasi manajemen laboratorium IPA.

Science laboratory management in schools plays a strategic role in improving the quality of science education, but its implementation is hampered by a manual management system that causes administrative errors, data loss, and ineffective and inefficient laboratory scheduling. This study aims to analyze the efficiency and performance of the SainsLab application as a science laboratory management program. This study uses a mixed-methods approach with quantitative descriptive analysis. The research subjects were selected using purposive sampling, consisting of 71 people, including teachers, laboratory managers, and students from SMAN 1 and SMAN 2 Lhokseumawe. Data collection was conducted through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The analysis of the efficiency and performance of the SainsLab application used the IT Balanced Scorecard framework, which covers four perspectives, namely organizational contribution, user orientation, operational excellence, and future orientation. The results of the study show that the efficiency and performance of the SainsLab application are in the effective category with a total cumulative score of 82%. Based on the IT BSC perspective, the highest achievement was in the Operational Excellence perspective with a score of 85%, driven by technical reliability and accuracy of tool/material stock information. The Organizational Contribution perspective achieved a score of 84%, proving the application's success in minimizing administrative operational costs. The User Orientation perspective achieved a score of 80%, indicating a good level of satisfaction from both teachers and students. However, the Future Orientation perspective recorded the lowest score of 79%. This critical finding identifies a gap in the System Integration indicator, which only achieved a score of 62%, implying that the application's recommended value has not been maximized. Overall, the SainsLab application has met its KPI targets an its suitable for implementation as a science laboratory management system.
