Proyek konstruksi Perumahan memegang peranan penting dalam pembangunan konstruksi di Aceh. Komunikasi yang baik antara pemilik proyek, kontraktor, dan konsultan pengawas sangat penting untuk menghindari keterlambatan serta menjaga kualitas pekerjaan tersebut. Namun, dalam praktik di lapangan terdapat berbagai kondisi yang memengaruhi kelancaran komunikasi selama pelaksanaan proyek. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan serta pengaruh peran konsultan pengawas terhadap efektivitas komunikasi pada proyek Perumahan di Aceh. Populasi penelitian adalah perusahaan konsultan pengawas berkualifikasi K dan M yang memiliki pengalaman dalam proyek Perumahan di Aceh selama lima tahun terakhir. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan pengumpulan data melalui kuesioner. Analisis data dilakukan melalui uji validitas, uji reliabilitas, uji t, analisis deskriptif, korelasi sederhana, dan regresi linear berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa manajemen komunikasi memiliki hubungan kuat dengan efektivitas komunikasi dengan koefisien Pearson sebesar 0,607. Sementara itu, metode komunikasi dan aliran informasi menunjukkan hubungan sedang dengan nilai koefisien masing-masing 0,402 dan 0,591. Hasil analisis linear berganda, menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi konsultan pengawas, metode komunikasi, manajemen komunikasi, dan aliran informasi berpengaruh positif terhadap efektivitas komunikasi dimana jika faktor-faktor ini meningkat maka efektifitas komunikasi akan meningkat pula dan sebaliknya. Sedangkan, efektivitas supervisi dan koordinasi proyek menunjukkan pengaruh negatif terhadap efektivitas komunikasi, jika faktor- faktor tersebut meningkat maka efektifitas komunikasi akan menurun dan demikian sebaliknya

Livable housing construction projects play an important role in the development of the construction sector in Aceh. Effective communication among project owners, contractors, and supervising consultants is essential to prevent delays and maintain the quality of project outcomes. However, in practice, various conditions in the field may influence the smoothness of communication during project implementation. This study aims to analyze the relationship and influence of the supervising consultant’s role on communication effectiveness in livable housing projects in Aceh. The population of this study consists of supervising consultant firms with K and M qualifications that have been involved in livable housing construction projects in Aceh over the past five years. This research employs a quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires. Data analysis includes validity testing, reliability testing, t-test, descriptive analysis, simple correlation analysis, and multiple linear regression analysis. The results indicate that communication management has a strong relationship with communication effectiveness, with a Pearson correlation coefficient of 0.607. Meanwhile, communication methods and information flow show moderate relationships with communication effectiveness, with coefficients of 0.402 and 0.591, respectively. The results of multiple linear regression analysis reveal that the competence of supervising consultants, communication methods, communication management, and information flow have a positive influence on communication effectiveness. This indicates that improvements in these factors will lead to higher communication effectiveness, and vice versa. Conversely, supervision effectiveness and project coordination show a negative influence on communication effectiveness, meaning that an increase in these factors is associated with a decrease in communication effectiveness, and vice versa
