Program Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka (MBKM) merupakan kebijakan pendidikan yang di rancang oleh kementrian pendidikan, Kebudayaan, Riset, dan Teknologi untuk memberikan kesempatan kepada mahasiswa agar dapat belajar di luar program luar studi. Program ini bertujuan meningkatkan kompetensi mahasiswa secara holistik, adaftif, dan relevan dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja serta perkembangan zaman. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui profil pelaksanaan program MBKM Kampus Merdeka Prodi Pendidikan Jasmani, Kesehatan, dan Rekreasi (Penjaskesrek) FKIP Universitas Syiah Kuala di Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) Kabupaten Aceh Besar, serta untuk mengetahui kendala yang di hadapi oleh pihak sekolah dalam pelaksanaannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 6 informan kepala sekolah dan guru pamong pada tiga sekolah yaitu SMPN 1 Peukan Bada, SMPN 1 Darul Imarah, dan SMPN 3 Montasik. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan dokumentasi, sedangkan analisis data menggunakan model Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi tahap pengumpulan data, reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan program MBKM di ketiga sekolah tersebut berjalan dengan cukup baik. Mahasiswa mampu mengimplementasikan mata kuliah praktik seperti pembinaan kondisi fisik, olahraga rekreasi, sport massage, dan pengembangan model bermain dalam kegiatan pembelajaran PJOK di sekolah. Selain itu, mata kuliah teori seperti sport relegion juga diterapkan melalui penanaman nilai-nilai relegius, disiplin, dan sportivitas kepada siswa. Pelaksanaan program juga ditandai dengan keterlibatan aktif mahasiswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran dan aktivitas sekolah. Secara keseluruhan, program MBKM Prodi Penjaskesrek FKIP USK di SMP Kabupaten Aceh Besar memberikan kontribusi positif dalam pengembangan kompetensi mahasiswa serta mendukung proses pembelajaran jasmani di sekolah.

Profile of the Implementation “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” Program in the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation Study Program, FKIP Syiah Kuala University at Junior High Schools in Aceh Besar Regency [Undurgraduate Thesis. Syiah Kuala University]. Supervised by Prof. Dr. Nyak Amir, S.Pd, M.Pd and Dr. Drs. Sukardi Putra, M.Kes. The “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” (MBKM) program is an educational policy designed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Teknology to provide students with the opportunity to learn outside their study programs. The policy aims to enhance students’ competencies holistically, making them more adaptive and relevant to the needs of the modern workforce. This study aims to describe the profile of the implementation of the MBKM program of the Physical Education, Health, and Recreation (Penjaskesrek) Study Program, Faculty of Teacher Training and Education (FKIP), Syiah Kuala University at junior high schools in Aceh Besar Regency, as well as to identify the challenges faced by schools during its implementation. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. The subjects consisted of school principals and supervising teacher from three schools: SMPN 1 Peukan Bada, SMPN 1 Darul Imarah, and SMPN 3 Montasik. Data were collected through interviews and documentation, while data analysis used Miles and Huberman’s model, which includes data collection, data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The resulth of the study show that the implementation of the MBKM program in the three schools generally ran quite well. The participating students were able to apply the theories of physical education in teaching practices and were actively involved in extracurricular sports activities. Principals and supervising teachers stated that the program had a positive impact on students’ learning motivation and supported teachers in carrying out teaching activities. However, some challenges were still encountered, such as limited implementation time, lack of coordination between the university and schools, and inadequate sports facilities. Overall, the MBKM program of the Penjaskesrek Study Program, FKIP Syiah Kuala University, at junior high schools in Aceh Besar Regency, can be said to have been implemented effectively and provided benefits for both students and schools, although improvements are still needed in coordination, time management, and supporting infrastructure.
