Abstrak kemiripan pola kesuksesan kepemimpinan antara prabowo subianto dalam pemilihian presiden indonesia 2024 dan ferdinand bong-bong marcos jr. dalam pemilihan presiden filipina 2022 yang menjadi fenomena menarik, meskipun keduanya berada dalam konteks politik dan sosial yang berbeda. penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik serta persamaan gaya kepemimpinan kedua tokoh tersebut melalui metode kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kepustakaan melalui analisis dari berbagai literatur, jurnal, dan sumber berita lainnya yang relevan. penelitian ini menggunakan teori gaya kepemimpinan transformasional bernard m. bass dan teori gaya kepemimpinan kharismatik maxweber. hasil penelitian mengemukakan bahwa gaya kepemimpinan prabowo subianto ditandai dengan karakter yang populis dan tegas, penggunaan strategi pesona gemoy effect dalam menghilangkan citra militeristik bagi kelompok pemilih, serta adanya narasi persantuan dan keberlanjutan nasional dari pemerintahan sebelumnya. sementara itu, ferdinand marcos jr. menampilkan citra kepemimpinan yang stabil melalui pendekatan nostalgia politik pada era marcos sr., penggunaan narasi persatuan dalam bentuk unity campaign, serta optimalisasi kampanye digital dalam meredam kilas buruk masa lalu dan sejarah. penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesuksesan politik kedua tokoh tidak sepenuhnya didasarkan oleh kesamaan yang identik, melainkan pada kemiripan pola strategi kepemimpinan dan komunikasi yang adaptif terhadap kondisi sosial, budaya, dan dinamika politik masing-masing negara. dengan demikian, keberhasilan tersebut menunjukkan pentingnya kemampuan pemimpin dalam mengelola citra, membangun narasi emosional yang kuat, serta memanfaatkan media sosial secara efektif dalam kontestasi politik modern. kata kunci : kepemimpinan politik, gaya kepemimpinan, pemilu indonesia 2024, pemilu filipina 2022

ABSTRACT The similarities in leadership success patterns between Prabowo Subianto in the 2024 Indonesian Presidential Election and Ferdinand Bong-bong Marcos Jr. in the 2022 Philippine Presidential Election are an interesting phenomenon, even though both are in different political and social contexts. This study aims to identify the characteristics and similarities in the leadership styles of these two figures through qualitative methods with a library study approach through analysis of various literature, journals, and other relevant news sources. This study uses Bernard M. Bass’s transformational leadership style theory and MaxWeber's charismatic leadership style theory. The results of the study suggest that Prabowo Subianto's leadership style is characterized by a populist and assertive character, the use of a charm strategy of the gemoy effect in eliminating the militaristic image for voter groups, and the presence of a narrative of unity and national continuity from the previous administration. Meanwhile, Ferdinand Marcos Jr. displays an image of stable leadership through a nostalgic political approach to the Marcos Sr. era, the use of a unity narrative in the form of a unity campaign, and the optimization of digital campaigns to reduce negative flashes of the past and history. This study concludes that the political success of both figures is not entirely based on identical similarities, but rather on similar leadership and communication strategies that adapt to the social, cultural, and political dynamics of each country.
